Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson arrived at spring training for the New York Yankees yesterday, working in the field and taking batting practice with the team. During a BP session, Wilson hit five home runs alongside some of the team’s best power hitters. Wilson was traded from the Rangers earlier this month.

Meanwhile, in Arizona, Shohei Ohtani logged his first hit of Angels’ spring training, starting the game in the second spot of the lineup. It took three at-bats — the two-way player walked in his first two plate appearances — for him to record his first hit and RBI for the team. Coming off of a disappointing debut on the mound, Ohtani fans surely sighed a breath of relief to see some of his storied plate discipline translate to the majors.

Lastly J.D. Martinez received his formal introduction as a member of the Boston Red Sox after signing a five year deal with the team last week worth $110 million.

All three players are the subjects of today’s Topps Now trading cards with Wilson receiving the honor of being 2018’s first autograph card in the on-demand series. Each card will be available online (links on this page) for 24 hours and printed to order.

Wilson’s autograph cards are all limited and numbered and Ohtani is already the record holder for total sales after his pitching debut card sold over 11,000 copies. Today’s checklist is as follows and the full Topps Now checklist can be found on the 2018 Topps Now checklist page.
