The store has two locations -- Oakland and San Francisco -- and has been a fixture of the bay area punk scene since 2008. The Oakland location includes a music venue featuring a wide range of concerts every month.

The label's roster includes acts like King Lollipop, The Cute Lepers, and Shannon & The Clams. The soundtrack for Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk -- a documentary produced by Green Day and narrated by Iggy Pop -- was released on the label in 2017.
