This guide will track all of the Tyson Beck releases for Project 2020 and keep track of print runs and rankings. Clicking a link within this page may direct you to an affiliate retailer or to relevant eBay listings for that card. All sale prices listed on this guide are based on eBay listings.

Release ranks are simply where the card fell in order of print run at the time of the card’s release where final ranks are based on the completed set. Artist ranks are for the individual artists’ 20 cards.

Project 2020 #12 - Dwight Gooden

Artist Release Rank: #1
Artist Final Rank: TBD
Beck’s first release was his Dwight Gooden card (#12) which was the lowest selling card in the series to date.

Project 2020 #25 - Ken Griffey Jr.

Print Run: 3,707
Release Rank: #1
Final Rank: TBD
Artist Release Rank: #1

His print run more than tripled with the release of his second card, Ken Griffey Jr.(#25) and became the first card to print more than 3,000 copies.

Project 2020 #37 - Cap Ripken Jr

Print Run: 2,621
Release Rank: #8
Final Rank: TBD
Artist Release Rank: #2
Artist Final Rank: TBD
The release of Beck’s Ripken card (#37) saw the print run take a dip from its preceding release but still ranked in the top 10 at the time of release making him one of two artists to have multiple cards in the top 10.

Project 2020 #55 - George Brett

Print Run: 1,992
Release Rank: #25
Final Rank: TBD
Artist Release Rank: #3
Artist Final Rank: TBD
By the time of this George Brett card’s release, the Project 2020 had seen its first massive seller with Baller’s Trout released four cards prior. This card, however, couldn’t ride the wave and ranked 25 upon release and was ranked third among Beck’s four cards released to date.

Project 2020 #70 - Bob Gibson

Print Run: 6,757
Release Rank: #10
Final Rank: TBD
Artist Release Rank: #1
Artist Final Rank: TBD
By card 70, print runs of this set were beginning to average much higher. Where Beck had been the first to break 3,000 cards early in the set, none of the 13 cards leading up to #70 sold fewer than 3,000. This Gibson card would be his best seller to date but just barely made the top 10 overall.

Project 2020 #99 - Sandy Koufax

Print Run: 21,535
Release Rank: #14
Final Rank: TBD
Artist Release Rank: #1
Artist Final Rank: TBD
Following the unbelievable sales record set by Keith Shore’s Griffey (#88), Project 2020 print runs were now through the roof. This Koufax (#99) card sold more cards than all of Beck’s previous releases combined but only managed to rank at #14 upon release with all but one of the top 14 cards being #85-96. At this point, Beck — who at one point held 20% of the top 10 — now had only three cards in the top 50.

Project 2020 #122 - Ted Williams

Print Run: 9,507
Release Rank: #42
Final Rank: TBD
Artist Release Rank: #2
Artist Final Rank: TBD
The bubble for Project 2020 turned out to be fairly short lived and by the time of this Williams (#122) release, print runs were becoming wildly unpredictable and could range by thousands within the same week. Williams released as Beck’s second best seller but placed at 42 overall. He now held only two spots on the top 50.

Topps Project 2020 cards are available for 48 hours exclusively through the Topps website. Final print runs are determined by consumer demand within that 48 hour window.
