The fourth week of Kinks and Beats Daily is in the books and, beyond the three Kinks songs discussed, we threw in our first solo song of the podcast. For The Kinks we covered Situation Vacant, Holiday Romance, and Better Things.
For The Beatles we took a look at a song written for A Hard Day’s Night (but ultimately used as an album track), Things We Said Today. Our first solo song is the beautiful conclusion to George Harrison’s Living in the Material World album, That Is All.
Make sure you are subscribed to the podcast on your favorite pod player. Next week’s topics include one of The Beatles’ best guitar tracks as well as one of their most hated tracks and Tony’s opinion of a 70s Kinks hit changes for the better. You won’t want to miss that!
